About Our Church
In a media-intensive environment around the celebration and reflection of the Eucharist, St. Victor’s parish encourages Christian devotion, engagement and cohesion among its diverse members.
The liturgical length of time is often not enough for deep contemplation. You might need several minutes of meditation for one flash of mystical intimacy. It takes time to internalize the Eucharist, so that the mystery of Jesus is not only in our minds but also in our hearts and souls. More time than can be accomplished at Mass. Therefore it is so important to worship Jesus in the Monstrance. The celebration of the Eucharist at Mass needs to be extended before the Blessed Sacrament in Holy Hours.
St. Victor’s provides Holy Hours (Eucharistic Adoration) every Monday night from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. before the Mass of Novena; and from 8 to 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. In the children’s room on Monday evenings, at 6:30 pm, we listen to a John Main tape on rising in contemplation.
St. Victor’s Catholic Church is located in the center of a densely populated and busy metropolis. Holloway Drive is situated at 8634. A block and a half west of La Cienega, and a block and a half east of Sunset.

They try to represent the outcast of society, those oppressed by economic status, societal rejection or prejudice of any kind. God does not discriminate.
